Details:

This large project was completed in  the Old Courthouse in Wexford town.  We provided a turn key service for our clients Wexford County Council – including the role of PSDS.

The spaces were completely gutted and we redesigned the layouts to create a lecture style space with mezz to the main area.  Ancillary spaces were also redesigned including toilets, corridors, stairwells, meeting rooms and canteen.  We did all construction drawings, preparation drawings, tender docs and project managed the main contractor on site.  All new electrical layouts were prepared with LUX levels calculated.   We incorporated various styles of lighting giving the end used complete flexibility.  State of the Art AV was also installed.  The principles of biophilic design were used extensively with carbon neutral finishes, colour schemes and incorporating nature where ever possible in the overall design e.g. woodland wall coverings, flooring, colour scheme etc…

“Wexford County Council engaged Suzanne Freeman in 2018 to refurbish property owned by us as a custom designed Campus for Georgia Southern University, USA. The property is housed in a Georgian building in Wexford Town, and had been used as a courthouse and ancillary offices for many decades. It had not been properly refurbished since the 1980s. The Council were looking for an impactive modern feel that would resonate with international and business audiences. Suzanne manged the project excellently and the results of her work was very well received in all constituencies, particularly showcased at the opening ceremony performed by An Tánaiste, Simon Coveney TD. I would happily recommend Suzanne for any similar work.”
